There, I said it. It's cold, it bites, it's wet, it can kill you. I make my point. But the crazy kids love it. And that is unfortunate, because I seem to be the one that finds wet mittens and socks everywhere. I know it is November. I've had the longest ear infection ever and now I think my hearing is jacked. That's a good excuse not to write, right? <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii1ADNFU3KKjOwnizAE_IxKMc0X6B645rrYmuxhvY3BApb4NC_pgxenCGRptC72U-Y51lmZN9AwLw25gkuC3M0lEuP7g6CWsZw9L7Q8V2ypaC7qnLFHnTu97uCGJIhxRc58lssTTiZ1vYL/s640/blogger-image--155172309.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEii1ADNFU3KKjOwnizAE_IxKMc0X6B645rrYmuxhvY3BApb4NC_pgxenCGRptC72U-Y51lmZN9AwLw25gkuC3M0lEuP7g6CWsZw9L7Q8V2ypaC7qnLFHnTu97uCGJIhxRc58lssTTiZ1vYL/s640/blogger-image--155172309.jpg"></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;">I can't believe I hadn't posted Halloween pics. This year Beila wanted to be a mummy bride. Score! I made a mummy costume 2 years ago for Juniper. Popi wanted to be Pippi (of course), another awesome deal because I made Bee a Pippi costume ages ago and we had a new wig all the way from Sweden for our little Pippi-freak. But then there was Juniper.....oh dear. She decided to be a Pheonix, the mythological on fire self reincarnating from the ashes bird who's tears have healing powers. Yes, that one. I don't think it turned out quite like any of us wanted it to:/ Then of course, Popi demanded Marc and I go as Pippi's parents, Captain Longstocking and the Angel, Pippi's dead mom:) My kids!!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxK3kUwBwLe4WecSSrgqpA81Ij8vHHNrnhSliuEDcnyzconS_QMjs8v6nhajyDX1eDZf8BtmwrKbxkUVYrriznhf5s3GSnpDEVDWesOS0TS2uZtbTDo81qsYwhfKAmq3uQtgpDTTV6nzgn/s640/blogger-image--1424213334.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhxK3kUwBwLe4WecSSrgqpA81Ij8vHHNrnhSliuEDcnyzconS_QMjs8v6nhajyDX1eDZf8BtmwrKbxkUVYrriznhf5s3GSnpDEVDWesOS0TS2uZtbTDo81qsYwhfKAmq3uQtgpDTTV6nzgn/s640/blogger-image--1424213334.jpg"></a></div><br></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-68144831194624778782013-10-07T22:22:00.001-05:002013-10-07T22:22:18.542-05:00A1C Test<div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-9d2KVDQk_Jd-6DOkuApqzZOUDjpYwkNoiGEMYHawhjciLuLVRrkV3SiYMRfffPH-lr3NTwExC9TiVZxeHOiA3mMPxSaJbvYvvEdmR4O1xmmVpcQIRwhAE_9YGph1fETp6dPzqljNHGAh/s640/blogger-image-367881171.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-9d2KVDQk_Jd-6DOkuApqzZOUDjpYwkNoiGEMYHawhjciLuLVRrkV3SiYMRfffPH-lr3NTwExC9TiVZxeHOiA3mMPxSaJbvYvvEdmR4O1xmmVpcQIRwhAE_9YGph1fETp6dPzqljNHGAh/s640/blogger-image-367881171.jpg"></a></div>Today was our every otherish month doctor visit for Beila at her endocrinologist. In these visits we get her A1C tested, she gets weighed, her height measured, and our one on one with Dr. Jelley, whom we adore. <div class="separator" style="clear: both;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIofNEldZGYQiMz56uwpOa9Zp4xjyiLgf0YVAUdRAB99Gp-zibHVn0Koq6dm_CYNRcgTPaKBQbdl988G-TOYiUPL0fGwnDauQM2CQicpR0gQuzZXluAXD9gayFy8GiJ5Zj-dsFr0xTMaGX/s640/blogger-image-643959835.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIofNEldZGYQiMz56uwpOa9Zp4xjyiLgf0YVAUdRAB99Gp-zibHVn0Koq6dm_CYNRcgTPaKBQbdl988G-TOYiUPL0fGwnDauQM2CQicpR0gQuzZXluAXD9gayFy8GiJ5Zj-dsFr0xTMaGX/s640/blogger-image-643959835.jpg"></a></div><div>An A1C percentage is like a batter's average in baseball, it gives us an overall average of Beila's blood sugar levels. Her blood is put in a machine and it counts the amount of hemoglobin in her red blood cells. The higher the A1C, the worse her average. Today she was 8.0%. Not good, but not terrible, it's almost in the 7's. We have some work to do. From the A1C and her blood test charts the doctor figures out if she needs more insulin per carbohydrate or not. She does, we went up to 16 carbs/1 unit of insulin.<br><div>I remember at her diagnosis how I was so worried I would never get the hang of this, how I thought I could never remember all of this stuff. Funny how I was so wrong. It's her life in our hands, literally. Just one mistake is all I could make to send her into a coma, or worse. Glad I'm not completely useless:)</div></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-88866017544115904192013-10-04T23:10:00.001-05:002013-10-04T23:10:57.481-05:00Long time no See.I know. Since Christmas time Popi was using the potty pretty frequently. Then we had a minor setback when we traveled to the Austin area for a weekend, it kinda messed us up. When we got back it took us a few days but we got back in the swing of things pretty fast and only use a pull up for bedtime, but she doesn't soil it at night, it's just for my ease I guess. I don't know if it helps that we cloth diapered or that she has 2 older sisters, but she trained faster than June and Bee. It makes life so much easier! <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQVj1oK601EL4f0FbzdzW7722M32fbi3x-vWJPy0BsKSCSA9ziTZgqReCMtYJO4nZYw4AXIOcUEVujjX_Cvc-f75E8U9JOs9fnA2OAa1pQES1rGwM8KWce1sCdPkRQwAKV6ebLkj1GQWK3/s640/blogger-image--1507225289.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQVj1oK601EL4f0FbzdzW7722M32fbi3x-vWJPy0BsKSCSA9ziTZgqReCMtYJO4nZYw4AXIOcUEVujjX_Cvc-f75E8U9JOs9fnA2OAa1pQES1rGwM8KWce1sCdPkRQwAKV6ebLkj1GQWK3/s640/blogger-image--1507225289.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-49848118092440351362013-01-10T15:15:00.001-06:002013-01-10T15:15:40.017-06:00Ugh.I am so sick of listening to all this anti-gun bull crap. You will find me looking for the man with open carry to go sit near out in public. You want to know why? He or she will not allow someone with bad intentions get past them, I want to be near the good guy. Most of the media is this country doesn't allow the "good" gun stories out into the public, and there are so many. For instance, did you hear about the woman who's house got broken into while she and her two young sons were at home? She hid in a closet with her gun while on the phone with her husband and 911, without her gun goodness knows what would have become of her and her boys. The man came for them in the closet and she was able to PROTECT her family. The police are slow, we all know that, I have waited hours for police to show up. FYI, the intruder didn't die. Getting rid of guns is not going to get rid of bad people. Just like making drugs illegal doesn't keep people from overdosing or selling them. Mass killings will always happen, people with mental problems will always be in our society, just like that mass stabbing at a school in China. I hate the idea that the govt. wants to take away our liberties that this country was founded on, they take away our weapons they have us in a corner. Isn't anyone else's internal alarm going off at the idea of complete trust in the US govt.? <br/><br/><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVJbHvZaKuSErXGzPKBPiBV14uoIAG6Hon896mxZ_tYLM5vPnBB7xsjynLgSxxUZFVmvYvURby09L6B3aVJK9oQN5PKkAvh9NSWPe-TDekxZ7zC9AGXOZ7DfzDLw3eNhmQwaIwsw2KoBVk/s640/blogger-image-1882690592.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVJbHvZaKuSErXGzPKBPiBV14uoIAG6Hon896mxZ_tYLM5vPnBB7xsjynLgSxxUZFVmvYvURby09L6B3aVJK9oQN5PKkAvh9NSWPe-TDekxZ7zC9AGXOZ7DfzDLw3eNhmQwaIwsw2KoBVk/s640/blogger-image-1882690592.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-34377892631404824032013-01-09T21:48:00.001-06:002013-01-09T21:48:14.132-06:002013, januAhhhh. We are so excited to be participating again in this walk with friends and family. here is a good article written by the <a href="http://owlanddrum.blogspot.com/2012/10/beilas-bunch-walk-for-juvenile-diabetes.html" target="_blank">owl and drum store</a> about what it is. thanks!sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-1912258179813004782012-09-19T00:18:00.001-05:002012-09-19T00:18:00.740-05:00Pump up the JamOkay, more like "pump up the Beila". We put Bee on the pump today, we've been waiting forever it seems for this day. As always there was so much information and a ton of note taking and a few tears on my part, but this time my tears were of happiness. I know the pump isn't a fix and comes with it's own set of problems, but I do not have to inject my Bee multiple times a day anymore, not even once a day, just every three days when we put the cannula in her. We will still have finger pricks to test blood as always until we decide if we ever want a cgm(continual glucose monitor). The pump is amazing, we press in her blood glucose number, then how many carbs she is eating and the pink machine does the math and "voila!" it doses her with insulin. Also, it puts out a continual itty bitty amount of insulin all through the day just like my body or your body does, this will help regulate her blood more to keep her from getting insane highs and lows. This wonderful machine is by no means the answer to our problem or a cure, it is a small escape from tons of needles. We will go back to needles for certain things, because they in their own way are easier, simpler. But we are part of the pump club now, it feels good. If you haven't watched Beila's video down below on her life with Diabetes, please watch and please donate to help find a cure to this horrible disease, you can donate at www.jdrf.org/goto/beilasbunch<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOaoXtLn8TTBSA9hoaloN3jZcJDxPdG6AbDPD_yYv4EK1sMpMRNww8x8RRRQkvE3KgR3ET3Oj5ksHLQqSDGN76yiVxlPLf5oKSuC-KFXJQLZb754vpoYqynPxP3dEoF03x5OVLwvP1ko42/s640/blogger-image--1180024854.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOaoXtLn8TTBSA9hoaloN3jZcJDxPdG6AbDPD_yYv4EK1sMpMRNww8x8RRRQkvE3KgR3ET3Oj5ksHLQqSDGN76yiVxlPLf5oKSuC-KFXJQLZb754vpoYqynPxP3dEoF03x5OVLwvP1ko42/s640/blogger-image--1180024854.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-60713994915663399212012-09-04T18:24:00.002-05:002012-09-04T18:24:28.440-05:00Beila's Everyday Life<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

We had tons of salty food with gallons of coconut water to wash it all down with so she would pee frequently, more opportunity to "learn". We had the baby doll pee pee and put on panties, we sang pee pee songs, read pee pee books, watched Japanese pee pee videos, we were set! Popi loved her big girl panties she was wearing and kept those suckers dry. Every five minutes after cups and cups of liquid we would go to the potty, and there in lied the problem, she will not sit on a potty or toilet of any kind. We have two small potties, and a small toilet seat attached to the big toilet, many choices. She wanted nothing to do with them and nothing to do with putting her diapers back on. I knew she must have needed to pee very badly after all that she had drank, but she just kept on holding it till she could no more. She stood in the hall, asked for a towel, then peed on the floor. She's the kinda girl that doesn't like messes so that's why she needed the towel, to wipe up her pee. Back to the drawing board for me, I can't figure out her aversion. First the bathtub, now the toilet. I guess it'll happen someday!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq1VaQNoQqwZ1QxCxYh4odQp0JAFqyPs8qicpjABs5aY0_5l5pOpcW64a7Omi6ggXXINBspktm1FCyYu9kkwDh0F_Q9JOURONW0W4ZNblywhuZuGyTqPpBVBrLvbUvMPxCIL-4HAmxJNJj/s640/blogger-image-939717920.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiq1VaQNoQqwZ1QxCxYh4odQp0JAFqyPs8qicpjABs5aY0_5l5pOpcW64a7Omi6ggXXINBspktm1FCyYu9kkwDh0F_Q9JOURONW0W4ZNblywhuZuGyTqPpBVBrLvbUvMPxCIL-4HAmxJNJj/s640/blogger-image-939717920.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-5731410038963867592012-02-17T14:45:00.001-06:002012-02-17T14:45:29.382-06:00Gardening and cookingIt's what I do best. Today was a great day to be outside in the dirt. I put potato seed out in a raised "container" made from chicken wire and used the neighbors gorgeous compost they don't use. Also I cleaned out a bed and put compost on top so it is ready to be planted! I called the garden show on the radio this past weekend to see if I could move my asparagus crowns, he said I could, but it is proving to be a tougher job than I anticipated. The roots I knew were long, but they are crazy! I can not find the end to them, I also now know I planted them too close together. I love being in the dirt! Cooking is fun too, I made chocolate chip cookies for snack, and a carb free pizza crust for dinner. Beila's blood does better without carbs so when I saw this recipe I knew we had to try it. 1 package cream cheese mixed with 2 eggs, garlic powder, salt & pepper, and 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, i also added some italian herbs. Bake in a cake pan on 350 for 15 minutes or so, till firm. It smells yummy, I think it will be like a savory cheesecake texture. We'll let it cool then top it like a pizza with a tomato sauce without sugar, mozzarella, and lots of veggies! Hope you have a great dinner planned, have a great weekend!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnvNkN_g-gD6wyoTeJjOL0M-EqjOgta4W-tACs6txdJ2HUkauJ_l5xiEbm8qGUjiZaYLaC3Lwic8IQ1_Req4JSSvQ5cSh9V25RMuore-QHfOwgVkw5p-_LFx1hgmtt2iOScw3cC3jK8BgL/s640/blogger-image--322594022.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnvNkN_g-gD6wyoTeJjOL0M-EqjOgta4W-tACs6txdJ2HUkauJ_l5xiEbm8qGUjiZaYLaC3Lwic8IQ1_Req4JSSvQ5cSh9V25RMuore-QHfOwgVkw5p-_LFx1hgmtt2iOScw3cC3jK8BgL/s640/blogger-image--322594022.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdfQ68B9JtkJMUAEPAE0iOn-pcd7lvB4KbU1zfJJb9D-1j-kpKPh_g8QagLJ5b_4bKJtrf96yPv3-RMiIHnlVyor4hg6BnO4bLHFGnqRSVzhJ4Mh15gCd29On_OZ9bsmy5nMZPGOQa_vDz/s640/blogger-image--1196041658.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjdfQ68B9JtkJMUAEPAE0iOn-pcd7lvB4KbU1zfJJb9D-1j-kpKPh_g8QagLJ5b_4bKJtrf96yPv3-RMiIHnlVyor4hg6BnO4bLHFGnqRSVzhJ4Mh15gCd29On_OZ9bsmy5nMZPGOQa_vDz/s640/blogger-image--1196041658.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-33537210373513085972012-02-13T12:01:00.001-06:002012-02-13T12:02:53.819-06:00UghOkay boyz and girlz, I am lazy. No scratch that, I am a busy mom. I am a mom, animal owner, daughter, sister, farmer, library frequenter, cookie maker, ballet taxi, doctor, nurse...the list goes on, and the list goes on. (you sing that last part to the tune of "the beat goes on.). There has been puke in our neck of the woods, all three chilluns, the Greek and I just got very upset tummies. Everyone is on the mend now and holding down food. We are watching Bee pretty carefully though because her ketones are pretty high so we have to do some damage control there. This weekend I made the munchkins v-day skirts out of some fabric I bought years ago. I was happy I was able to squeeze out three from one yard fabric. Years ago all I had in mind was two skirts. Speaking of, today is my 2nd anniversary. Today I married my Greek, swoon:) then along came baby. Sometimes I get upset that I was married the day before valentine's day because I don't celebrate romantic v-day, I celebrate it with my kids, they are my valentines. I hate that there is a day set aside where I am expected to show someone how much I love them, I think it is a crock. I love my husband very much and choose to show him that as much as I can, not once a year. We try to go on dates every week without children and do things for each other. So, you see, getting married the day before looks like we are hopeless, sappy, romantics. I don't judge you if you celebrate with your lover, I just don't. <br />
<br />
Anywho, enough of that! I made my chica's skirts using this fun skull and hearts print. I used my twirly skirt tutorial somewhere on here, and embellished to my liking. I used different trim on each skirt and decorated each felt heart pocket differently. I think they turned out great! Happy v-day to all you lovely people out there!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBcrqLZ0Knak8B61ouyxbTob4gZiw3gGOUOpGL0gjWTGZpojuxNjO3uOGLLKPtvCcqwbBpa49tOvu1HLvbXrGTc0jezEIJTUUswwc-saby3-psopYCtSbGpbLEU3ZGdGMNoQICYjFRUXrd/s640/blogger-image-1797721665.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBcrqLZ0Knak8B61ouyxbTob4gZiw3gGOUOpGL0gjWTGZpojuxNjO3uOGLLKPtvCcqwbBpa49tOvu1HLvbXrGTc0jezEIJTUUswwc-saby3-psopYCtSbGpbLEU3ZGdGMNoQICYjFRUXrd/s640/blogger-image-1797721665.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-38342279413939438242012-01-30T14:32:00.001-06:002012-01-30T14:32:16.323-06:00Sprouts!Hello onions!<br />

This month it is onions, next month I have to sow my candoon, broccoli, celery, cucumber, lettuces, peas, peppers, ground cherries, and tomatoes. Those I will start indoors. My arugula, beets, carrots, kale, beans, corn, radishes, shallots, strawberries, and watermelon will be started outdoors. I was thinking of transplanting my asparagus patch but i have heard that it is tough. I don't want to loose any asparagus, especially now it is the third year in ground here. I am so happy to have a pretty big garden this year! We also made French bread today, smoked raw cheddar and homemade French bread, what a great snack!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj76nPhfIVukFSuReW5-lnJghYjGC5ECx-kKmjHHcFgFskY8EHyv0d7c0dlQpB0HjpFELuVpXf1uFd_-HxGJxfp3P6rxqYC8g-V9BE4gDtf7MQUhJNx0irVQs_bsv9DKTWp_AK3urm3C3Is/s640/blogger-image--239506337.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj76nPhfIVukFSuReW5-lnJghYjGC5ECx-kKmjHHcFgFskY8EHyv0d7c0dlQpB0HjpFELuVpXf1uFd_-HxGJxfp3P6rxqYC8g-V9BE4gDtf7MQUhJNx0irVQs_bsv9DKTWp_AK3urm3C3Is/s640/blogger-image--239506337.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLZph6i-jR_gH-uEOvFNpOi92uT1fAblXXrBCdpBZ0MbCJUN-e-fvCz7eDGIwsk4SLpY8Cn6-jR-u3t404CRKefXaT9xT1icqZnJUYfbU2cz52O2P3DoziM4xjPwo7bP1hsXEj21JHG0Ri/s640/blogger-image-296660826.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiLZph6i-jR_gH-uEOvFNpOi92uT1fAblXXrBCdpBZ0MbCJUN-e-fvCz7eDGIwsk4SLpY8Cn6-jR-u3t404CRKefXaT9xT1icqZnJUYfbU2cz52O2P3DoziM4xjPwo7bP1hsXEj21JHG0Ri/s640/blogger-image-296660826.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-38544969279519436142012-01-19T13:40:00.001-06:002012-01-19T13:40:37.572-06:00You Know, the Angels Wanna Wear my Red Shoes"I was watching while you're dancing away.<br />

(what does that mean anyways?). Our little pop-tart is getting so big, well, not so big as older....ugh. Popi is still a little thing. 18 pounds of laughing, talking, coloring, baby carrying, book reading, cheese eating, pure toddler. Her favorite foods has held firm, cheese(smoked Gouda) and blueberries. We have now added cold cereal to this list. In the morning she wakes up and asks for "seal". Not that she doesn't eat other foods, it's just those are her favorites. She still loves shoes, jewelry, purses, and baby dolls. She got a keyboard for Christmas so she now has her own "piano" to play on, she loves making music. Since the weather has been so mild she also likes to go "'side" to play in the sand box with the big girls. She really is getting so "big", playing outside, eating with a fork and spoon, "reading" books, coloring, talking in the phone, picking her shoes out for the day, telling me "no" with a shake of her little head. I hope she will learn to say the affirmative soon. The best is over Christmas break she learned to walk. I am so proud:). She sure did take her time learning, it was nice she took her time but I am happy now I don't have to carry her everywhere! Okay, I'll stop jabbering on. Y'all have a nice day now!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_32_USH_Trt41AH8kS5nE2DRJHmbhlWKN31umKIHa0MPHSNdWnIXEPF2Y1Dvy49s9QZWistYvhofGlHdZHao6leiPKSCGgJB1tpMk8TVARWOOZ6j5KSZ76DuBZziYhKZfyE3ldKxIG3xE/s640/blogger-image-571767251.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_32_USH_Trt41AH8kS5nE2DRJHmbhlWKN31umKIHa0MPHSNdWnIXEPF2Y1Dvy49s9QZWistYvhofGlHdZHao6leiPKSCGgJB1tpMk8TVARWOOZ6j5KSZ76DuBZziYhKZfyE3ldKxIG3xE/s640/blogger-image-571767251.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-20161076021167856092012-01-13T13:10:00.001-06:002012-01-13T13:10:55.647-06:00Seeds!I got my first shipment of seeds just now!!! I thought I'd give it a whirl since it is so dang hard to remove it with elbow grease. You need 10 cotton balls, or I used 5 then I tore them in half for 10. Polish remover, and 10 strips of aluminum foil. You put some remover on your cotton ball and place it on your nail. You secure the cotton ball to your finger with foil and let it sit for a couple minutes or five. I was watching a movie so I don't know how long I left it on...but you know what? I took that foil off and the black glitter polish was not there a smidge! I didn't have to rub or reapply remover! I am so happy.(it doesn't take much;)<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoKy9jkveEPgwdVjOOI9OiXP3tTj24pkCcidqXBfbntBxjsmYMZjauWiQm7XvsuYbH6jS6jhd4iONPaFyvJ5m4yDm3rtAiYlNLQJoaZa54jVXBpB74xHB49RjjetKDCgSO1GLzU2an9min/s640/blogger-image-752179405.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgoKy9jkveEPgwdVjOOI9OiXP3tTj24pkCcidqXBfbntBxjsmYMZjauWiQm7XvsuYbH6jS6jhd4iONPaFyvJ5m4yDm3rtAiYlNLQJoaZa54jVXBpB74xHB49RjjetKDCgSO1GLzU2an9min/s640/blogger-image-752179405.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-21174642534736943952012-01-06T10:15:00.001-06:002012-01-06T10:15:31.660-06:00Time with the littlesI'm Sitting here sharing my chocolate frosted mini wheats with popi. They are very yummy, btw. Popi and I chill at home most of the day, just me and her. I feel so blessed to have all this one-on-one time with her, just like I did with June and Beila. This doesn't mean we sit at home doing arts and crafts and playing pretend with each other. I am not one of those moms, I wish I was but I'm not. I clean or read while popi wanders around the house doing popi stuff. When I go into the garden, she's out there with me, playing in the sandbox, or in her play garden while I dig in the dirt. Right now she is in the playroom, doing something. Juni had three years by herself with me, then she went to Montessori. Bee had all the time Juni was at school with me by herself. They both spent every day at the scooter shop with me, never lacking in attention or toys people brought for them. I miss those days, I feel bad that popi doesn't get to experience growing up in the shop with all the love and oil in every corner, but that's okay, being home with me is bueno too. I don't know where this post is going or went, so I am just rambling. Popi just brought me play dough and said "thank you.". Gotta go. Happy Three Kings day, I can take Christmas down now!<div class="separator"style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKcA2c-HNkk-oB6h0aqUs-4WC5O9VToiBuoSev5FxZcr9SWz7AaYo0MRc8r1lXxrt3GdFskacDh99zE-bREDiwVM9oPRJHwbfmgnBMvQWDMIB20auOOEoVyr7tlLAerJTT_rJ-jVIcj2Ef/s640/blogger-image-1900276644.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKcA2c-HNkk-oB6h0aqUs-4WC5O9VToiBuoSev5FxZcr9SWz7AaYo0MRc8r1lXxrt3GdFskacDh99zE-bREDiwVM9oPRJHwbfmgnBMvQWDMIB20auOOEoVyr7tlLAerJTT_rJ-jVIcj2Ef/s640/blogger-image-1900276644.jpg" /></a></div>sachahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10615402465290680974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6776453146043209285.post-16328744272525389022012-01-03T09:33:00.001-06:002012-01-03T09:33:05.180-06:00Seeds!I got my trusty seed catalog in the mail to drool through.
