My Etsy

i started my etsy shop today. i have had it forever, empty, but i put stuff in it today! i already sold the cutest little dress ever, and before it sold, lishyloo, another vintage children's clothes etsier, favorited it. that is neat because she is a huge person on etsy. she also has clothes featured on one of my favorite blogs, modern kiddo all the time.
i am so excited to be doing this finally, i have talked about it forever. i can put handmade things on it and my vintage finds! take a looksie here:)

19 Weeks

last week she was 19 weeks old. so i am behind.

No New Year's Resolutions For Me

i don't do new year's resolutions. why you ask? well, i feel that a goal should be set whenever, not just on one special day. if there is something you need to do for yourself, start now, you don't need to wait for new years. some of my goals i am working on are, for one, exercise. i have never exercised on a regular basis, but i started in november. i joined the Y, and i love it. after 3 children my goal is to look like barbarella. really. i want a rocking science fiction hero-ette body. i will do it. o yes, and maybe i will find myself a blind angel too.

my next goal i have been working on is more homemade foods, sit down dinners at home. tonight i made baked pork with scalloped potatoes and creamed spinach. it is so easy to go out to eat, but eating at home is better for us, cheaper for us, and makes me think.

i also joined this project restyle thing over at a beautiful mess. hopefully it will help me do more creative things for me and the kids. sewing more clothes, quilting more, knitting more...you know dorky crafty stuff.
we have so much going on this year already, opening up restaurants, selling businesses, opening businesses, emptying houses, having estate sales, selling vehicles, going on vacations, having family reunions, going on a road trip, so much!!
we had an exciting year last year, i hope we have a safe and eventful 2011.

Monday Morning Anthropologie

queenie's breakfast with friends, a walk around a quiet utica square, a visit to saks, and then a nice non-bustling anthropologie to browse. ahhhh, i am so glad holidays are over and my life is back on it's non-schedule.

i wonder when the snow will melt....

across the land dress
my pictures are not the best today, finally changed my lens on my camera on my phone. this dress is cut so pretty and the polka dots are awesome.

wingspan bottle opener
i want this for when i tend bar. i'd pull a little birdie out of my pocket, beer anyone?

gull wing dress
i have been eying this dress in orange. it comes in navy, but remember, i'm on an orange thing. love it, i could wear it on my pretend yacht in the back yard.

Align Center
rosy knob
someday i will redo my kitchen and have fancy knobs like these roses.

are you happy holidays are over? i was sooo busy this year. i am finally able to breathe. have a good week!

Project Tea Towels

Christmas ain't over folks. i was suppose to have these done a month ago. oops. i got this fun linen print at spoonflower.
i then made tea towels. which really was nothing, i just hemmed the edges with a double fold, and voila, tea towel. i just wish i made one for myself now...
